adidas vs nike?
i did a survey on brand-concsiousness today. because daniel's RE group is doing on branding, so i'm gonna write about branding now. (i know i'm really brand-conscious, thankyou) nope, not my personal commentary. rather, i want to compare two of the top performance brands in the world. if you havent heard of them, you probably stay on Mars. Nike versus Adidas. man this is a tough fight. if anyone remembers, i think a few years ago, Nike was dominating the sport performance market. now, Adidas is a really major competitor, and these two are slugging out the price wars. its good though, means we get cheaper branded goods.
okay. the true flagship models of these two brands and their direct rivals.
Adidas Superstar 2 vs Nike Dunks
ClimaCool/ClimaLite vs Dri-Fit/Sphere Dry
T Mac 5 vs Lebron Zoom Air 3
F50+ Predator vs Mercurial Vapor
adidas_1 vs Nike Shox Turbo III
okay these are some of the major ones. i couldnt get anything for tennis, i'm not really into it. but when u look at this list, well, i think adidas is really going to overtake nike. really quickly. the superstar 2 is way more common than the nike dunks series. climacool is also more well-received than dri-fit. it even sounds real cool. for the Tmac 5, well, its also way more common than the Lebron. well, its into its fifth version already, what do you expect. for the soccer, well i dont play soccer very much, but i heard of the F50 much more than the mercurial vapor or whatever. infact i havent even heard of it! can someone please tell me if i'm wrong, i'm not exactly an expert on these things. okay, and the running shoes, the adidas_1 wins hands down.
adidas is now cooler than nike. a pity i dont have much adidas stuff. ):
